Cartwheels Incorporated is looking for Gymnastics Coaches!
Who? Cartwheels Inc.is a movement education centre specializing in recreational gymnastics for children. Our goal is to create a lifelong love for fitness through fun, challenging gymnastics and movement activities. We teach gymnastics and related activities such as cheerleading to children ages 18 months to adult. Our participants enjoy gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling, camps, birthday parties and special events!
What? Cartwheels Inc. is looking for dynamic individuals, who love working with children, are full of energy, and who seek an active job! We are hiring coaches for Preschool, Recreational and Interclub levels. Our categories are as follows:
Tumble Jungle: aged 16 months to kindergarten 7 days a week, morning, afternoon and evening timeslots available
Achievement: aged 6yrs (grade 1) to teen afternoon, evening and weekend classes
Gymstars: The Gymstars program is our advanced recreational program (Interclub) for boys & girls ages 4 & up. The Gymstars Program is a 10 month commitment beginning in September and continuing until the end of June. There are typically 3-4 special events/ meets for this group.
We offer Mini Gymstars (4-6 yrs boys and girls), and Gymstars for girls and boys ages 6 & up.
Depending on age, ability and level of commitment, Gymstars may train anywhere from 3-8 hours per week. Gymstars training occurs on weekday evenings.
Birthday Parties & Field Trips: 2 - 6 hour shifts available on a flexible/ on-call basis.
Where? We currently have 2 locations, one in Richmond, and the other in Surrey. Both clubs have approximately 600 members per term with total yearly activity in the thousands.
Requirements:
· Minimum Level 1 NCCP certification
· Respect In Sport certificate
· Current Criminal record check
· Standard First Aid
· Previous gymnastics experience is preferred but not required
