| Katherine does all of her teaching at the Surrey location but provides leadership for all staff at both locations by leading the staff in training sessions throughout the year as well as being the brains behind all the curriculum and program development. We are excited to say that Katherine this past June gave Birth to her beautiful daughter Marigold. Katherine has been involved with the sport of gymnastics since she was a girl and has had a great love for the sport her entire life. She began teaching in her teens and she is passionate about sharing movement experiences with children. Before starting the business Cartwheels Inc. with her business partner Lisa Thompson 7 years ago, she was the Program Director for Phoenix Gymnastics Club in Vancouver for 11 years. Katherine is extremely active with gymnastics within the province; she sits on a volunteer committee devoted to the development of recreational gymnastics in BC, is a past board member of Gymnastics BC and is an NCCP course conductor. |
